دي هي Ballast الخاصة بفوانيس الزينون (HID).
المكتوب عليها تقريبًا:
Input: 9–16V
Output: حوالي 85V
Power: 35W
يوجد تحذير High Voltage.
وظيفتها:
تستقبل 12 فولت من بطارية السيارة.
ترفع الجهد إلى آلاف الفولتات لحظة تشغيل لمبة الزينون.
ثم تثبت تشغيل اللمبة عند حوالي 85 فولت.
الكابل السميك المتصل بها هو Igniter (الإجناتر)، ووظيفته إعطاء الشرارة الأولى للمبة.
إذا تعطلت:
اللمبة لا تنور.
أو تنور وتفصل.
أو تومض باستمرار.
